Our First Family Holiday

We just got back from 3 days in Brugges. It was a treat away for Deb, and our first trip away from home. Alex coped really well. He spent a lot of time eating (on the train, in cafes and restaurants) - thank goodness I don't mind breast-feeding in public! and the rest of the time we were out, he was usually asleep in the sling.

We rented a self contained house, so he and Mum also hung out there a couple of times while Deb and Duncan went for walks or visited museums. All in all it was a successful trip.

On the train (Alex's second train trip - the first was to meet Nana at the airport)

Asleep in the sling. Waiting for the Lace Museum to open
