We were so lucky to be able to spend a few days with Shaun on his "farm". Unfortunately Aunty Emma and Megan weren't there, but Virginia and Warren came for a visit.
Alex had the best time feeding the sheep, cows and chickens while Mum and Oliver had fun sitting in front of the fire. We were also lucky enough to sample the first steak from Shaun's own cow - we had two meals that were completely home grown .... veggies and meat ... YUM!
Duncan and I have visions of sending the boys off to the farm for the weekend when we return to Wellington. We reckon they could head off on the train on Friday after school and come back Sunday night. I hope Shaun agrees!
