Holidays are hard work

I don't even remember where this was .... but we were trying out the attachment for the macpac ... turns out it's on the wrong way - he should be leaning forward onto it. He really doesn't like it though.

We got some great family pics when we were in NZ. I can't believe this is the first one we have of the four of us.

The "boy" cousins ... not that there are actually any girls in the "immediate" family. Alex, Oliver, Thomas and Riley.

On the Farm

We were so lucky to be able to spend a few days with Shaun on his "farm". Unfortunately Aunty Emma and Megan weren't there, but Virginia and Warren came for a visit.

Alex had the best time feeding the sheep, cows and chickens while Mum and Oliver had fun sitting in front of the fire. We were also lucky enough to sample the first steak from Shaun's own cow - we had two meals that were completely home grown .... veggies and meat ... YUM!

Duncan and I have visions of sending the boys off to the farm for the weekend when we return to Wellington. We reckon they could head off on the train on Friday after school and come back Sunday night. I hope Shaun agrees!
